Why am I doing this?

Some of you may ask why I started this blog (and when I post my 'fat' pics later, I'll probably ask myself the same question). I need accountability. If I tell all of you that I am going to lose weight, then I had better damn well give it a good go - or look like a big loser for giving up. It's so easy to slack off and make excuses for not going to the gym, or for eating what I know is not a wise choice. Even with the support of my hubby, I find it's easy to slack (because I know he loves me). And let's be honest - I want to feel sexy, wear a monokini, dance around in lingerie for Damon, and wear the size 4 clothing that sits in the back of my closet collecting dust!

So, here's what I propose: I promise to take this blog seriously. And in doing so, I want to give my followers something interesting to read each day. Not just about my daily activities toward weight loss, but nuggets you can use too, if you are striving to lose weight, get in better shape, tone up, eat healthier, etc. I'll post recipes, tips from trainers, goodies I find on the net, and photos. And I invite you to post anything you think is worthwhile too. Share your successes (or failures, bc we can all learn from them) as well, if you are so inclined.
