Advice from Debbie Siebers, Creator of Slim in 6



Last week I emailed several celebrity fitness professionals (you know, the well-recognized women and men with best-selling exercise videos, infomercials and programs with household names), asking if they could offer any bit of advice for my blog. I thought that it would not only be very exciting, but also meaningful, credible and something we all remember for a long time.

The beautiful Debbie Siebers responded. I could hardly believe it! For those not in the know, Ms. Siebers is the creator of Slim in 6 through BeachBody and the Total Body Solution, as well as the Slim Series (please visit her website to learn more: www.debbiesiebers.com). In addition to over 20 years as a fitness expert, she also adds product creator, producer and host to her resume.  

And let me tell you - she is as nice as can be. With a very busy schedule, appointments and commitments, she still found time to share her insight with me. Let's face it - in a world where most people only do something if they get something in return, this high profile woman took time for a gal with a blog of only 13 followers. (here's hoping you spread the word and we grow more followers!)

Here's what Debbie Siebers had to share:

My philosophy has always been that you need to live in the moment and be positive about life. No matter what is thrown at you....you have to realize that you are in complete control and responsible for everything that is happening to you. 
I am a firm believer of "The Secret" and applying the laws of attraction. What you focus on and what you think about consistently is what you will manifest into your life.
If you continually think "I Can't Do It", or "It's too Late for Me", or "I don't have the time".....then that is exactly what will be true.
If you can learn to change those thoughts when they occur and instantly replace them with a positive one, repeating it over and over until it truly resonates within you, your life will slowly or even quickly begin to change for the better.

The truth is we all have the time. You just have to make it a priority. Also, we all need to take care of ourselves, respect ourselves and love ourselves enough to do what is right.
Afterall, this is our one and only life, so we should make the most of it, right? 

It always makes me so incredibly sad when I see so many people spending the majority of their lives feeling miserable about themselves.....when all it takes is exercising regularly and eating healthy to turn that all around.
You will have a new attitude. You will feel in control. You will have more energy and be more productive. You will be happier.
You will look and feel better and everyone around you will benefit.

So, my advice is......START RIGHT NOW. Today is the day! 
Take it one step at a time and don't overwhelm yourself with the entire staircase. 
Accept yourself today! Love yourself today and know that each and every day you will only get better..... 

You know the saying.....TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!
