Grilled Veggies for Dinner

Tonight I vowed to make something healthy for dinner, to make up for that italian pasta dish I had last night. I grilled some chicken, and the best part, some delicious vegetables. I have always loved eating grilled veggies out at a restaurant, but have always failed to get them right at home.

Tonight, I seasoned them differently and they turned out wonderfully. I cut up red pepper, zucchini and used whole mushrooms. I put them on skewers and sprinkled each with black pepper, Crazy Jane's mixed up salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Then I gave each a skewer a few squirts of Wishbone's Salad Spritzers in the Balsamic Breeze vinaigrette flavor. I love this dressing, as it only has 1 calorie per spray and it really tastes good.

I put them on the grill for about 10 minutes, turning them a couple of times, to make sure they didn't burn on one side. Once the mushrooms were shriveled a little, I called them done. And sure enough - after my first bite, I said, "mmmm."  Success!
