I rocked the spin class - had on some new bike shorts - and worked my ass off in there. I think a lot of it has to do with Hazel's music. She plays really cool mixes.
Boot Camp continues to be tough for me after I do the spin class, because of all the plyometric jumping. My knees just hurt like a mother. But, I do love all of her weight-resistance exercises. We do a lot of 2-for-1 jobbers - like squatting with a bar and raising the bar overhead when we stand up from the squat. So, we're working the legs and shoulders at the same time. Way to get it done!
Today I tried a new protein shake brand too, from GNC, called Lean Shake. It was wonderful! Rich, and very vanilla-flavored! I highly recommend it.
And the day's meals were very good too. For breakfast I had yogurt, a half banana, and 1/2 cup of granola. Lunch was sliced turkey, and avacado (with my shake), and for dinner we grilled chicken breast, and I ate it over a delicious salad with grilled mushrooms.
I stopped and got some fine-looking peaches this afternoon. One might just call my name soon!
