The shoes feel good

I tried out my new cycling shoes this morning in Spin class. While they didn't change the ride that dramatically for me, I did notice a few improvements. My knees definitely hurt less than normal. However, my toes continue to go a little numb. The instructor said that the shoes need to break in and in a month or so, that should stop. At any rate, it was kind of funny trying to lock those clips into place on the pedals the first time! I think that takes a while to get used to as well. 

After spin class, it was another day of Body Pump. So, while I didn't have personal training this week (my trainer is on vacation), i did get several days of lifting in.

This weekend I'll be visiting family, and hope to get a lot of walking in. And I vow to eat well too!
