
This morning was my weekly Stroller Strides class. For anyone unfamiliar with them, it's a great way for mommies and the little ones to have fun and work out together. While the toning exercises can be pretty challenging at times, I will also say I find that this kind of activity gives me something I don't get at the gym - time to chat with other women who have similar interests and kids.
It's about an hour of pushing our kids in a stroller along a designated path while we walk or run, with intervals of resistance training with bands, and abdominal exercises on mats. The instructor, Ana, is great about keeping the kids occupied too - with fun songs, and special events. Last week she brought in a clown that made balloons for the kids. I added a pic here from that.
Today was my 4th time taking this class, and I am really enjoying it. It was breezy and beautiful along the water today too - making it even better!
