
Well, closer to four pounds and some odd ounces, but saying 5 makes me feel better!
I'm almost 2.5 weeks into my Velocity training, and I would say its going pretty good. I feel stronger, and am beginning to look leaner too. My upper body is especially trimming down.
I'll be anxious to see how my body fat has dropped at the end of this program.
Today's workout with Jonathan was great. The hardest part that really stands out in my memory was when we wrapped a weight belt around my waist with a band, and I drug him behind me as I ran across the room four times. Whew, I mean that was some serious resistance! I was breathing so hard I sounded like some pervert prank phone caller! I stopped long enough to catch my breath and then we did it again. Other than that, we did a lot of work with the medicine ball, and a bunch of ab and butt stuff.
Since I will be away from the gym on Friday, I am doing another round of personal training again tomorrow. Lordy, my body is going to be sore this weekend! But, its worth it, if I can lose another 5 or so pounds in the next 2 weeks. I would be happy to have lost 10 pounds during this Velocity training challenge. I'll keep you posted!!
