Throughout his life he's always been physically fit. He played college basketball, and went on to join the marines. 'Nuff said about the fitness you have to be in to get through bootcamp! He spent several years in the Middle East fighting the good fight, and after 4 years were over, he went back to Iraq protecting America's political VIP's for another 4 years. During that time, we exchanged lots of photos, emails and calls and I always knew he was working out hard. And what great shape he was in! He once sent me this photo of him shirtless holding a huge gun, and I couldn't get over how hot he looked! hee hee
Since then, my husband trained for a new gig with the government, and of course, it required daily running, exercise and physical training tests. He has to stay in shape. So, he hits the gym everyday, in addition to working very long hours. And it always amazes me how he can pretty much eat whatever he wants and still maintain his fitness. Guess when you have lots of muscle, you can burn off all that stuff.
The other day we traveled back to PA, and I had to get up early and go outside for a run, in order to keep up with my Velocity training schedule. I was so surprised to see him get out of bed (when he didn't have to) and come along. He's so tall, that I was struggling to keep up with his pace! He was very encouraging too. And that's one of the reasons my husband really inspires me - he is my biggest supporter. He goes out of his way to ask lots of questions about my workouts, to exercise with me, and to just be there for me.
Thanks to my husband, who inspires me like no one else!
