Friday's Exercise



Sorry for the delay in blogging this past week. I got caught up with a heavy workload, and went home for the weekend. 
But, I am back, and have a basic, but effective exercise for you. And yes - it is another band exercise. If any of you invested in a band, I want you to get your money's worth!
Friday we used the band to do bicep curls. As you have probably seen from the other exercises I've posted here with the band, you can use a band for pretty much any exercise that uses free hand weights.
So, as you can see in the pics, you stand on the band for resistance. You begin with your arms straight at your legs, palms face up. You keep your elbows close to your waist, and curl your palms up toward your chest. Hold the position for a few seconds at the top, and slowly lower your hands back down to the starting position. Be careful to not let your hands swing back down with gravity. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.
