A distracted workout

Have you ever noticed it's difficult to get a good workout when you have something on your mind? Today was one of those days for me, and I really noticed it in my spin class. I just couldn't seem to focus. I never got into the "zone." So, it felt really difficult the entire hour and therefore, I just couldn't bring myself to try too hard. I hate to admit that. But, it's true. My mind was working on other things, and my body was along for the ride - literally.

I hope to be back into proper form and state of mind tomorrow. It's also my first day back with the trainer in 2 weeks. So, we'll see how it goes.
