Exercise of the Week

Here's another exercise I did with my trainer on Friday. Again, this one uses the exercise band we talked about on Tuesday.
It's called the Band Row, and pretty easy to accomplish. As you can see in the pics, you sit on the floor, with your band wrapped around something sturdy. (a stair post would work well)
Pull your band until its very taught, and sit with your feet propped against the sturdy base. Extend your arms so they are straight, but soft at the elbow. Then begin by pulling your hands straight back to your waist, keeping your elbows in close to your body, and hold for a second, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.
This works your back and shoulders. Enjoy!

  1. Please note - the photos are backwards. The arms extended is how you begin the exercise, and then pull back.
