Well folks, I am disappointed. That diet pill I bought online is not doing a thing for me. Fenphedra is the name, and while it occasionally gives me a boost of energy, it does little else. I weighed myself a week ago, and the scale doesn't show even 1 pound of weight-loss. And I've been at the gym, doing my regular hour of cardio, followed by an hour of sculpting.
So, I think it's just a waste of money. Like they say, if miracles came in bottles, we'd all be super-skinny! Damn.

You should try mixing up your workout to lose weight. The best way to get a great workout in is to first warm up 7 - 10 mins, then do sculpting with some cardio mixed in (jumpin jacks, jump rope, etc.) then end with your cardio. Try it out! Let me know how you make out!
ReplyDeleteTraci, try not to get discouraged. You clearly are doing more than most people to lose weight. You look great and you're healthy. Stick w/ it. Your body will respond in time. We're just at that age where weight doesn't want to come off like it did in our twenties. I suspect that it only gets more difficult as we go and unfortunately genetics plays a role too. Just keep in mind that with every workout you will look better than you did the day before. When you put on that suit in Nov. you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you look better than you did 6 months before! Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice Kim and the motivating support Danielle!!
