Pinched nerve?

Yesterday I was having a kick-ass morning at the gym. I did the latin dance class, which is a great cardio workout, and followed it up with an hour of Body Pump. It was the next to last track of Pump - shoulders - and I felt great. I had increased the weight I was using for every body part, and was looking forward to going home for a nice shower.

However, it was during the shoulders track that I think I pinched a nerve in my back, under my right shoulder blade. The track consisted of pushups, upright rows, overhead presses, and shoulder raises with plates. At the end I finished up with several on-the-toes pushups and felt great for getting through it on my toes. When I stood up, I felt a stabbing pain in upper right back, near the shoulder blade.

Throughout the remainder of the day it bothered me. I took Advil and kept heat on it. However, it was in the middle of the night that it really started to hurt. I got up, took more advil, and got out the heating pad again.

This morning, it is a serious nagging pain. It hurts to move my head back and forth, and move my right arm. I just showered and hung out under the hot water. That helped a bit.

This just annoys me because I don't want to be out of commission. I will take the weekend off from the gym and let this get better. But, I sure hope it feels better by Monday.
